can dogs eat pomegranate ??

hi just wondering if dogs can eat them, was eating one earlier and alfie was realy keen ! lol

I don't think they're recommended.

I wouldnt give pomergranate.My milly loves apples green ones are her favourite

i would say no as i would have thought the seeds would contain persimons which can make the kiddneys stop working properly

my boy pickle eats EVERYTHING!!! when im in my kitchen cooking up a storm both my boys are there every time.... watching waiting watching waiting watching waiting any morsal that falls on the floor is fair game.. with surprising and some times funny results.... Tel-c is fussy but Pickle will try ANYTHING.. carrot..bracalli...potatoe..onion...all raw... LOVES raw potatoe ..also likes peppermints to thanks to my girlfriend Tel-c tried one and spat it out..yuck but pickile loves them... i have to watch his daily intake of human food so hea only alound 1 a week. Id advise not to give ya dogs raw spinich leaves Pickle ate 3 and farted ALL day and ALL night.. not good when they both sleep on my bed.

Take care with raw onions & potatoes, they can be poisonous to dogs.

Ya know what? One day old cooked sprouts do exactly the same thing!
