Stafford killer gets 12 month ban

Can't believe this guy only got a fine of £100 and banned for 12 months. This is exactly what's wrong with the law, people just aren't getting the punishment they deserve!

Makes me sick.....When are out courts gonna have people who have common sense working in them? Obvious you can have qualifations coming out of your ears and an IQ of 200 it isn't worth a penny if you haven't got common sense to go with it.

Yes i agree it would be a different story if it was a toy breed or something! how did he do it in a humain way with drugging the poor dog instead of taking it and getting it put to sleep with a trained professional!!

That's sickening. I'm staying in bournemouth with my dad this week, i'd love to see that scumbag around while i'm here. I'm sat on my dads sofa cuddling his gorgeous staffy charlie at the mo wondering how the hell anyone can do that to an innocent animal. It makes me sooooo angry!

When all's said & done the only thing that will stop scum like this is tougher sentencing. Prison terms, huge fines (I'm talking thousands) plus community work like cleanign graffiti off walls etc, etc.

A £100 fine and a ban for 12 months is NOTHING!!!

disgraceful carry on if that happened over here he would have got 12 mths in jail and banned from owning any pet for life, the animals rights crowd over here would have had a field day if this happened here, he would have to move out of the country

I just posted an article about a guy who tried to cut off the ears of a 3 week old staffy and he got 20 weeks jail (and is appealing that) plus a ban for 5 years.

There are some disturbed people out there and within that I include the authorities that have decided that £100 in fines and not allowing the man to keep a dog for X number of years is an acceptable form of punishment!
