An update on Chance.
Well tomorrow Chance has been here a week! that's gone bloomin' quick.
He basically came here and had no basic training or lead training apart from what the rescue had tried to do. Well we have managed to calm him down slightly but enough for a few minutes of training, so far he now knows sit, both paws and lie down, we can now sit and have something to eat without him trying to sit on your knee He is also a million times better to walk now he is having a couple of regular walks a day with Harvey. His main problem is getting very over excited when he sees another dog, he's so far has met two dogs in the street and calms down once he gets to say hello, but the first one bit him to which he didn't retaliate! and the second on our walk just now is a notoriously aggressive dog which to me looks like an american bully, who the dude always walks it off lead, well the dog came running over from the farm trying to dodge traffic as it had seen chance with the owner shouting at him to come back (which he didn't) in the end he had to jump on his dog who had got stuck behind some cars and had to drag it away. So not good, but hey ho, oh and Chance is starting to slowly put some weight on as the poor lad is very bloomin' skinny

Glad its going well Ella, he sounds like he's making good progress, it might be worth taking him to a training class so he can meet lots of dogs in a controlled manner
keep up the good work

Great to hear he's coming along well.
But, I have to say I'm really quite disappointed in you.
