Re: throat hurt with pointed stick
Is he still spitting blood? If so call an out of hours vet for advice. I'm guessing it was inside the throat and not outside so you can't really see what's going on

Oh poor Ronin, I must say I agree with Ian if he is in distress call the out of hours vet!! Sticks can be very dangerous for our babies, I, like Ian use the safe stix that cant harm them. Please keep us informed on how he is

He will feel the irritation for sure and that will make him cough but if you are at all worried call the out of hours vet and they should be able to advise you, do let us know how he gets on.

Re: throat hurt with pointed stick
we took him to the vet there because he started spewing blood and acting sore again. vet said we should taken him there the day it happened instead of waiting.. vet said hes clearing the wound and hell be ok.

Re: throat hurt with pointed stick
At least you know all will be ok now. To be honest the only reason I got Flo the Stix is because she used to not only rip the wooden sticks to shreds but she would also eat half of it and that's where is saw the £ signs floating gently in to the hands of our friendly merc driving vet
