Introducing dogs...
My mate has a little female staffy, he rescued her about a year ago, we think her last owners just used her to breed her a few times, then wanted to get rid of her when they made enough money. Weve recently introduced her to chase and are trying to slowly socioalise her (at her pace), as she has a really low tolerance of male dogs (we think due to the over breeding) shes slowly getting use to chase, ill try get some pictures of them together soon.
Shes amazing with people, and doesnt show any aggression to other dogs, she just isnt keen on interacting with other dogs. We dont think shes ever come into contact with male dogs for any reason other than to breed her.
We were just wondering if anyone has any tips or ideas when it comes to socializing dogs?
were taking it slowly and going at her pace, just wondering if anyone has any experience with this kind of thing?

Re: Introducing dogs...
Going on walks with them together is one of the best way to start with, simpley being near each other but concentrating on walking is a great way to get started. le them have the odd sniff of each other if all is going well and then look like they are comfertable with each other.
Times like this is where being able to read the body language is so important, so you will know how far to let them go with each other. Just take it slow and at a pace they are both comfertable with.
