Vomit each morning
Hi all
It's been a while since I've been here and it's nice to be back Rascal has grown so much! The issue we're having at the moment is she vomits each morning...... fine during the day, eats and drinks with no obvious issue. She's still bouncy and crazy, just has a vomit in the morning She sleeps with us, usually sleeping next to one of the children. I sometimes find that one of the kids has got their leg/knee across Rascal. Could this be causing her to vomit? She only vomits in the morning. Usually it's a brownish/yellowish liquid with grass in it. This morning there was a small bone fragment and some cartilage, along with brownish liquid and grass - this morning, the vomit smelled a bit like...um...poo!
She is fed a raw food diet - meat, some edible bones, liver, kidneys plus a vege/chicken broth I made up after a very convincing chat with our vet - I used spinach, carrots, celery and chicken carcasses (discarded the bones after cooking).
She was looked after by friends for a few days last week (Fri to Tues) and she ate mostly kibble.
What do you lot think??

Ok, she's just done a poo (sorry if TMI!) Pretty normal looking but had a few bone fragments in it. Guessing she didn't chew her chicken bone up enough yesterday Should I be worried??

Re: Vomit each morning
i'd take her down to the vets to be sure, if she is been sick and grass and bone fragments are coming up she may be unable to digest it and its coming back up the wrong end etc.
i'd take her the vets explain whats happened and they will be the one's with the best answer.
hope she is ok!
