I thought mine had a skin tag, it was a tick! Hadn't realised cause I've not seen one on a dog b4! x

You twist them out, being very carefull to get the head out, if left in its causes an infection. Yoy can do it yourself but I preferer to go the vets and a nurse does if for free XX

I've always been taught to take a lighter and heat up a pin. Gently place the pin on the tick so they will react to the heat and loosen the grip and remove them with tweezers making sure to get the head out.

Never removed one from a dog just myself Sad on a number of occassions.

I used to use the 'drown em in alcohol and twist em out with tweezers' method. But since discovering this little beauty it takes two seconds and the head comes out every time. - http://www.ticktwister.co.uk/
