What color collar should I go with?
Neat Collar
EDIT: I got one!! Scroll down to find out more!
I love the look of leather collars on dogs, but I don't buy leather. So I was super excited to find these awesome collars! They have the look and feel of leather, but are completely synthetic: http://ellaslead.com/inc/sdetail/5585/5588 They come in all different colors and you can put all different patterns and hardware on them. There is also a Heavy Duty one if you think your pup needs it: http://ellaslead.com/inc/sdetail/5585/5589
I'm still trying to decide between getting a brown one and a black one. I think brown would look really good with Saxon's color, but I tend to prefer black over brown. Actually my favorite color is blue, but I don't think it would look great with this style of collar. What do you all think?

Re: Neat Collar
Those are neat! That's sort of the look I was going for but without the leather. I agree that black with chrome and tan with brass would look nice. Now I just have to decide which!

Re: Neat Collar
The blue one would look cute and the tan/black ones would look serious. I guess I'll have to think about this further, haha!!
I like this pattern for the spots:

Re: Neat Collar
I personally think the red or ginger would look nice on Saxon, but then again he'd look great with any colour. Good luck with choosing

Re: Neat Collar
The collars are nice but i would never get one, besides making my own but mine are practical and usefull and they serve a purpose these thick collars do not their just for show, they look extremely uncomfortable whether their soft pleather or not, just their thickness would be uncomfortable around a dogs neck and if you ask me there are too many people out there who picture Staffys with these huge collars and a bad rep always seems to follow.
Also their useless when it comes to corrections.

Re: Neat Collar
The collars that I linked are an inch thick to two inches thick... Thats the same thickness as any normal flat collar. Also, I walk Saxon on a harness, so it would just be for his tags any way.

Re: Neat Collar
wow what a vast array of colours they come in.
I always buy colourful collars I just can't help myself. Jethro has a purple one, and a red one, and one with peace signs all over it. Winston already has a green one and a blue one.
Glad it isn't me that has to decide what colour for Saxon. He is so handsome ANY colour would look great on him !!

Re: Neat Collar
I like to have color, too, Saxon's first collar, in the avatar pic, was cobalt blue with silver colored bones on it. Everyone keeps telling me brown would look so good with his coloring, though. Jethro would look stunning in one of those collars!!

Cool I voted black to match his cute little nose they are nice and I like the idea but too thick for me Id never buy thicker that half an inch thick

Re: Neat Collar
I ordered one! I got the Heavy-Duty Vegan: http://ellaslead.com/inc/sdetail/5585/5589 Because the customer service rep. recommended it for him, he also recommended brown for Saxon's coat with black on it for his little nose. I ordered the Brown with brass and black spots on it in this pattern:
I'm really excited about it because it will be a lot softer on his neck than the fabric collars are. He has such sensitive skin on his belly and neck, so this will be good for him. I'm so excited. It's technically for his birthday on October 15th, but I don't think I'll be able to wait! I'll definitely put it right on him when I get it and take pictures!

Re: Neat Collar
I'm sorry, but you'll have to wait 2 to 3 weeks! It's going to be a heck of a wait! I just want it to be here!
