Kaylas progress at 14 weeks
Hate to rub it in guys but she's practically perfect.
Noise at night is practically none exsistant, I can now shut my bedroom door just not the living room door where she is.
Every night is dry without exception (crates are amazing). House accidents are reduced to one maybe rarely 2 a day, in fairness most have been my fault by not keeping an eye on her.
She can sit, speak, lie down perfectly. Heeling is great unless a person or pidgeon come near her then she wants it.
She's brilliant with people and now other dogs - thanks to training class.
Her only minor thing is separation anxiety but she is getting better.
Overall I could not have a more perfect pup im over the moon. No doubt there will be issues to come, shes already showing her spoilt girl attitude. When asked to 'come' when we're at my moms she pauses as if shes decideing whether to listen to me or not. She has a couple of nips every now and then.
Again anyone in the midlands who wants to meet up for a walk etc, let me know. She needs a Staffie best friend at the moment its a wee dauchsand at training class.
Love my little staffie

Re: Kaylas progress at 14 weeks
Thanks guys, shes a little star, bring on teenage stage. If I can survive that hopefully the worst is over
Hi Maderia
I noticed that when we were playing with her tennis ball she would bark at it if i 'teased' her with it before throwing it (You know, shaking it above her head then throwing it). So I started saying 'Speak' whenever she barked, building up to only throwing the ball if she spoke when asked.
She did then bark when she wanted anything so I wouldnt give it to her until she stopped barking. Thats when she put the command to the action.
You just need to find something that makes her bark, then tie that in with the voice command.
