Saffy crazy ears :-O
Hi everyone!
Saffys ears or should I say ear has been changing shape over the last few days! It's hardening up too.
Here's both ears last Saturday:
And here's her ears a couple of mins ago:
As you can see, her right ear has changed shape and it is now permanently in this position.
My question is, if you may, is this normal for Staffy's in particular? I know about other breeds I've owned but this is my first Staffy. I've googled it but there isn't really anything definitive out there!
I knew they would change to a more 'rosebud' shape eventually but I thought they'd do it together! Ha ha! By the way, her right ear is now quite 'hard' and her floppy one is still very soft!
I'm just curious really

Re: Saffy crazy ears :-O
It's normal, Staffs don't tend to have floppy ears, they change and kind of grow into them. Same with Loki his ears used to be floppy and huge, but now he's bigger so the ears are smaller and look like Saffy's ear in your picture. As for it only being one ear...that's normal too, things don't always happen at the same rate.

So cute. Lexi always had up ears though, hers were never down like that first pic. She has tiny little ears and i always laugh when shes walking at the little wiggle they do.

Thanks to all who replied
Do you guys think she's teething then? Because she's only 12 weeks atm, but she seems to have been chewing everything up this past week! Little monkey!
P.s Buddy is very cute!

Their ears do some very strange things. Bella's right ear will sometimes stick straight out, its so strange looking but really cute. Frozen carrots are really good for when they are teething

I think she is either teething or going through a growth spurt because her appetite has picked up tremendously! She has a nice meaty bone to chew on so she's been very good at not chewing the house up atm....except for all my sandals the the little madam!
