Urgently seeking foster for Marley

Marley is a 2 1/2 year old brindle & white boy. He is being rehomed through no fault of his own but requires an owner with staffie experience and who has the time, understanding & commitment to devote lots of tlc and time to bring out the best in Marley. He has an exuberant & friendly nature but can lack in self confidence so needs an owner who will build his confidence & socialisation.

We had arranged a foster for him, home checked and great references etc etc. Took Marley to the foster home and no one was home!! Poor Marley is now in kennels. He really wont do well in kennels and we are urgently seeking a foster home.

He is great with people but finds children in general unpredictable & worrying and gets quite anxious around children. We are looking for a quiet adult only home or a home with older children 16+ who know how to behave appropriately around dogs. Marley is neutered, vaccinated, wormed & microchipped.

Went up to see Marley at the kennels after his first night. Initially he pulled but after 6-7 times standing still and encouraging him "close" he totally got it and walked on a really loose lead the rest of the time. Not bad for a dog who has never been in kennels!
He is a lovely boy - desperate to get in my car and come home!

He walked past some horses, completely ignored them and met a few people too. What a star.
