Puppy discharge? (Don't read if eating!)
Today I got my new addition to the family, Skye. She's in excellent health and a very friendly happy girl.
Only thing is twice I've noticed she has had some stringy, thick, bright green discharge hanging from her vagina. The first time I cleaned it and the second time she did, I've never had this in any bitches before and wondered if anyone else had?
Oh, I've had her to the vets today and he said she's in excellent health I just didn't notice it before hand so I'm just wondering if it warrants another trip tomorrow?

Straight back to the vets, I'd say. Whichever way you look at it, that isn't normal!
You could also give the breeder a ring and ask if the rest of the litter are ok.

A small amount of discharge, maybe, but not stringy, and not green!

Hi and welcome to the forum from us and Suki. I would recommend going back to the vet and contacting the breeder as well.

Hi my Ty is a male but when he was a pup he had the same from the male equivalent lol his was bright green and looked stringy. He used to like wipping it across your legs not good it stains! I never took ty to the vet and he is fine now at 20 months. I hope you get to the bottom of it when you do could you let me know what it was just out of interest please I am sure she will be fine though x

Hi all thanks for your replies
Had Skye to the vets today and it turned out it was a lack of hygeiene! lol She's back for her second injections in a fornight so he said he'll check again then to make sure there's no infection, she seems to be cleaning it a lot more now and there hasn't been as much so fingers crossed!
