Puppy not eating....
Hi there
So Betty is 8.5 weeks old. We picked her up on Sunday. She is doing all the usual puppy things but I am concerned that she isn't eating very well.
We are using the same food as her breeder (Eukanuba puppy kibble) as well as yogurt, rice pudding (!) and tinned tripe. We are offering her four meals but she just picks at it. She has yet to clear a bowl.
Interesting she pinched my cat's leftovers yesterday and ate the lot, but she's just not interested in her own.
Any advice would be welcomed!

Re: Puppy not eating....
buddy is six months old and is still fussy with his food - your pup is probably still settling in too - just give him his food leave it down for a while and then pick it up and put back later in the day - he will realise then if he doesn't eat when its given he will be hungry .. Buddy will always eat our cats food given a chance ! Buddy only goes hungry for a few hours and then eats when he needs to - they soon learn - no puppy will starve don't panic

Re: Puppy not eating....
Thanks!
She ate a scrammbled egg this morning and now some Wainwrights wet food.
I'm going to leave it down for 20mins and then take the food away.
As you say she won't starve!

I feed my pup wainwrights dry food, he used to eat hills science plan but he never seemed that fussed, I've been through a few brands because he just gets bored. But since changing to wainwrights he's been brill they have a few different flavours too so I change it every week
