Your dogs weight?
Was wondering what your dogs weigh. I know the breed standard for a male is around 38 lbs. here in the States. Looking at the photos, some of your dogs in the UK appear to be a bit bigger than that. My guy starting to fill out nicely. Photos of Thor coming today.

Re: Your dogs weight?
Mambo is 19.6 kg but he's rather size zero-type dog because he's quite tall...
that corresponds with his model-career I guess (see my last gallery post )

Re: Your dogs weight?
What if the question had been
'Your dogs. Wait?'
That would have been much more challenging to answer.
Btw, I am thinking of getting a gastric band fitted for Ti Amo.
He was watching that Fern Britain, and seemed quite inspired, although I did explain that it didn't stop her being an irritating trumpet.

Re: Your dogs weight?
Saxon is 40 pounds, but he's a bit chunky for his height. He needs to loose 4 or 5 pounds according to the vet so we've cut back his food a bit.
The English standard is also 38 lbs maximum, but I think a lot of breeders over there are breeding them bigger then the standard.

Bobs missus here. Sophie is really small but still weighs in at 35lb of solid muscle. I will measure her shoulder height when she wakes up.BTW the photo avatar needs to be updated. That was taken when she was about 5 months. She has filled out a lot since then.

Re: Your dogs weight?
Molly is 14 months old so still filling out a little but she wont change much now I would not think.
Current Weight - 13.5 kg = 29.7 lbs
An 14" for height
She is about perfect in terms of standard height and weight, yet everybody always say "Oh isnt she small, is she still a pup".

Re: Your dogs weight?
Jess is just over 17kgs! She's aparently only put on 200g since we got her from the RSPCA but our vet has said she was a bit too podgy and has to lose 2kgs over the next few months as we're having her spayed! We hadn't got her done as we we're waiting to see if she came into season and she did a few weeks back (didn't take her out due to this and the high level of dogs lose in our area hence her being a bit podgy). We waited on advice of the vet because she has a little scar across her stomach and the vet wasn't sure if she'd already been done or had a litter of pups in the past! So it looks like the poor girl has had pups then been left to walk the streets! Anyway her food has been reduced and I'm attempting to walkher as much as possible ie taking her the shops etc with me added on to her current walks to help get her nice and trim so she can be spayed!

2.2lb = 1kg
Izzy is a "heavyweight" but she is also very long legged, possibly similar weight ratio to Roxy's weight at the same age.
Kita on the other hand has always been a bit small compared to her litter bros.
At her heaviest she weighed 16kg following a course of Prednisone (steroid) for her skin allergy around 10 years of age. She does have a little "short m^n" syndrome at times,

Romeo weighs 21kg, which is 3.3 stone and 46 pounds, and stands 14 inches to the shoulder at 18 months old. Hes not overweight, hes just muscular and barrel chested. Hes shorter and heavier then almost all other staffies he meets. My sister calls him 'the bear' or the 'tonka truck'
