teething tips

Does anyone have any tips On what i can do to make it less painful for Jett? When he first started teething he went off his food because His gums were hurting,I added a little warm water to it and he started eating again.
he's been fine for 2 weeks but last night he was playing with his hedgehog toy and when i picked it up it was covered in blood.I gave him a carrot I'd had in the freezer and he seemed fine.He hasn't chewed as much as he used to.
this morning he was off his food again and even after adding some warm water he's left half a bowl (62g ish)

I Bought teething gel from PAH but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

I remember a tip we got when Bajas was a puppy was to soak some small towels or similar, roll up and freeze for the puppy to chew to cool and soothe the gums. Once it thaws you can just rinse and repeat. Might be worth a try?!

Just keep doing what you're doing. It's a tough time for them, poor things. I used the gel with Dempsey, and I think it helped a little, but I've heard it doesn't always do much good.

Just give the poor boy plenty to chew on, preferably cold as it eases the gums. That's all you can do. At least it'll only last a short while & then he can get back to normal.

thanks for the tip Ane,think it might work because he likes chewing on my old shirt and cloth like material.

We used frozen sweet potatos and carrots. Luckily Suki never had a big issue with teething other than the overwhelming desire to destroy everything within reach.
