Re: which foods best
I feed raw, but when I first got Dempsey the breeder had been feeding him Bakers. I quickly got him off that, it's an awful food!
He reacts badly to a lot of dry foods - very hyper & badly behaved. He's a different dog with raw feeding. If you want to find out more, have a look at this site...

Re: which foods best
I had my pup on dry food, a good quality one but he was still hyperactive i've recently swapped him onto raw and the change is amazing he's alot calmer still has his mad moments but overall a lot calmer
I would definitely get him of bakers though it's a really bad dry food with all the additives and colourings init

Re: which foods best
We use fish for dogs now used to use james wellbeloved, both great food but fish for dogs does seem better for her skin and coat.
Re: which foods best
It's all about trial and error really and what suits your dog best.
I started off with wet food and bakers, worsed thing in the world to feed a dog imho. Then went onto beta which she loved to begin with. Then I looked into raw and havn't looked back since.
