Re: change of foods HELP?
I'm glad the vet told you to take her of the weebox, but what they should have also told you is wagg is awful food full of additives and E numbers I'd get her of that straight away, here's a list of dry food recommendations :- http://staffy-bull-terrier.com/dry_food there is also wainwrights & James wellbeloved which aren't on the list but both are good mid priced foods. At her age darcy was fed the recommended amount 4 times a day 6am, 10am, 2pm, 6pm.

Great advise above, just make sure you change gradually over a week or two to avoid the upset tummy

Re: change of foods HELP?
If she's loose from having Wagg anyway it might be just as well to switch her straight onto a decent food. Someone more experienced may elaborate on this but main thing is to get her off the Wagg as soon as possible. Have you considered raw? I switched ( cold turkey so to speak) a couple of weeks ago and can see the difference in condition already plus firm poos.

Re: change of foods HELP?
I would just do a straight swap tbh, shes not going to feel good on the wagg so a gradual swap won't do any good. I feed wainwrights.

Re: change of foods HELP?
K9 Optimum isn't a bad food, but it has too much in the way of rice and maize for me. However, it's much much better than wagg or weebox.
Just as a point to note, at 9 weeks your pup should be getting 4 meals a day. At three months you can reduce to three and at 6 months to two. If a young pup is leaving a little food at each sitting then you're feeding too much.

Re: change of foods HELP?
We tried a bag of K9 Optimum with Rocky recently as we couldn't get his regular food (Barking Heads). Rocky wasn't that impressed with it although it was the grain free version. We then had to trace a bag of his regular food online.
James Welbeloved would be a better choice as it is easily available from most pet shops and is reasonably priced too.

In a recent "WHICH" test, Eden came out top of dried complete foods. I've used it and although it appears at first glance to be expensive, because of the quality you can feed less. It's 80% protein, holistic and hypoallergenic. Before I switched to BARF I was able to feed Bacchus ( on my avatar ), who is 20 kilos, for about 90p per day. It's worth a look if you can stretch to it.
