Finally Found a Flotation Device That Fits Our Male Staffy
I've been looking for a flotation device for some time now that properly fits our male Staffy. I've tested about half a dozen, but they didn't work. The problem seems to be that most are designed based on the weight of a dog. Our guy weighs 18kg. Most 18kg dogs have a much longer torso than a Staffy. The rearward strap for all the ones I tried cinched across his penis. Well today, I finally found one that fits. One strap cinches across his chest and the other just below his ribcage. It's made by Ruffwear from the state of Oregon, USA. I'm not sure if they sell their products outside North America. I purchased it from a pet store chain on Vancouver Island called Bosley's by Pet Valu.
Anyway, I just wanted to share this with others. I hope to try it in the water in the next few days.

Oh, yes, Ruffwear is brilliant! You can get it in the UK as well.
