Is this a Staffordshire Terrier?
I'm not sure if this girl is a Staffordshire Terrier. An AI website that predicts dog breeds says she has a "high probability" of Staff Terrier using the pic I've posted here.

She's a stray I found sleeping on my doorstep. She's young enough to still be teething. She fits the behavior and coloring profiles I've read about Staffies including some posts on this forum. I'd like the opinions of seasoned Staffy owners about her looks. Thanks in advance!

Re: Is this a Staffordshire Terrier?
Hi there, welcome.
Very difficult to tell for two reasons...
1. The angle of the photo doesn't really give a lot of perspective
2. The age can be problematic- they can change so much up until about 18 months or so.
But I wonder whether you mean a Staffordshire Terrier or a Staffordshire Bull Terrier?
If you mean (American) Staffordshire Terrier, then possibly, but despite the angle and the age I don't think she's a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

Re: Is this a Staffordshire Terrier?
Aha, I appreciate the perspective. I love dogs but don't know a lot about them. This one is so sweet and fun loving but also hyper and gets into every thing. She jumps and bites (not maliciously) and chews. I take her to the creek and she runs and splashes and swims. Training her to sit, stay, fetch, etc is a pleasure as she learns so quickly.
And I just learned something new... that there is a distinction between Staffordshire Terrier and Staffordshire "Bull" Terrier. I'll have to assume that she is "American" since I live in Texas. She is definitely not as stocky as the dogs I've seen on this site... but may grow into it.
Thank you for your reply!

Judging from the jaw shape, I'd say it's a mix. Not pure staff.
