Hi there,

My pup is nearly 9 weeks old. I am led to believe he is quarter border terrier and three quarter Staffordshire bull terrier. My other halves mum owns the mother of the litter who is half staffy half border terrier, who was then bred with what was believed to be full breed staffy. I'm just wondering if the pup will look like a staffy when he is older? I seen the rest of the litter and a couple of them you can tell straight away that they are staffies.

What a little cutie Love Struck so hard to tell until he matures but at the moment he looks more terrier than staff. He is adorable though.

See I also think he looks more terrier, although I seen his mother growing up and she had a much thicker coat of hair. Only time will tell I suppose. He's a little character

I would say that at this stage he looks more terrier too, but they do tend to fill out as they get older. He looks lovely either way though Smile

It is far to early to tell as yet.Just wait until he is 6-12 months old and you will have a far better idea. You will certainly see the staff in him, anything crossed with a staff you can always see it.
There is a dog along my road that is a staffy x JRT,but to the novice untrained eye you would swear it is a full staff. So you never know.

funny, but i can actually see a lot of stafford in him! bearing in mind he's only a few weeks old.

but it's so hard to say at such a young age - they change an awful lot over the first year or so!
