Hi to all staffy lovers, my name is Cheryl and my one year old black and white staffy girl is called Bonnie.
She is suffering with really itchy skin and is constantly scratching. I have tried allsorts of products to try and relieve the symptoms but haven't found anything that truly works. She has now been prescribed apoquel from the vet, which is working great ....but so expensive going forward. I wondered if anyone has found a product that has worked for them without having to pay the high cost for prescription medication?? Would greatly appreciate any suggestions, thanks, Cheryl

Hello and welcome.

First thing I would ask is if you have found the cause of her itchiness ?
You are looking for a treatment but it could just be masking the consequences without ever really addressing the cause.

I presume you have ruled out food intolerances, environmental triggers (cleaning products, plants in the garden/out on walks)
Does she have alot of blue breeding in her lineage ?

Hi from me & Katy Smile My girl suffers with grass allergy & I give her antihistamine, salmon oil & coconut oil.
Has Bonnie had this problem all year round or at certain times in the year?
We would love to see pics of her  Love Struck
