Hi all, thank you for letting me join you, lost our first staffy Jessie 4 years ago due to cancer, she was15 yrs old, still miss her terribly,
But we bit the bullet and had another, Penny is now 20 weeks old, full of energy, eating her beds like they are fine caviar, after first 3 we decided not to pay through the nose for them, now shes on £15 ones instead of £35.
I'm hoping I can pick your brains if that's OK, like I have said she is a beautiful girl, but we have had a few visits to the vets already, firs 2 vets said this was normal, she has been loosing small amounts of fur, she now has a few patches and has got what the last vet said was demodectic mange, caused from either birth or mum's milk, she finished an 8 day course of antibiotics and is regularly flead and wormed but still getting patches of fur loss, she doesn't have red scaly skin, actually the skin is really nice and soft, we are bathing her in a dog specific tea tree shampoo every other day and washing her beds and toys.
Is there anything else I can do to clear this up, she is a black pup with a white diamond chest, so the patches are really noticeable any help or advice would be appreciated so much,
Thank you in advance,
Penny's mum (Karen )

Hi from me & Katy, welcome to our forum Sorry to hear that you lost Jessie but so glad you are giving Penny a loving new home We would love to see pics of her.
What are you feeding her as this could also affect the fur loss? Try adding salmon oil & coconut oil to her diet
