Re: Behaviour change at 2 years old
Yes Katy became reactive to dogs at about 2 years old! She had a few dogs go for her!! Are you having issues with Ruby?

She has become ratty and back chats by growling and showing her teeth when she is told off.She seems to be going through a fear stage as well she is terrified of the noise the bin waggon makes when they empty the bins

Re: Behaviour change at 2 years old
I actually found mine finished their “teenage years” at around that age and became much more grown up in their behaviour.
Is your girl spayed ? Could be hormonal

She has now reached physical maturity, but as she was spayed so young her mental maturity is struggling to catch up! Stay calm and positive with your responses to her reactions. Try not to shout or 'blame'. Redirect wherever possible. Keep a lot of treats (out of her reach, of course) in every room & if she 'acts up' just scatter some treats & say "Go find!" If she's keen on a specific treat, use those.
The main problem is that, being spayed at such a young age, her hormones have not allowed her to mature mentally & she is struggling to cope.
You can get past this with patience & consistency, but it won't change overnight. If necessary, think about getting a qualified behaviourist involved.
