Weird but cute new behaviour

So over last 2-3 weeks I’ve noticed Luna developed a strange but adorable behaviour during a certain situation.

When we’re walking outside and a person walks past us and greets her Luna is very jumpy- something we’ve always been trying to stop but just can’t as she’s a little ball of excitement. Now in last 3 weeks she started being super careful with children. When a child is approaching us she completely lied on the floor kind of cowering as she would if she was scared but her tail goes crazy, she stayed cowering until the child comes over to her and tries to pet her and then she doesn’t jump on them anymore like she does onto adults, she very gently tries to climb them rather than jump and very very gently tries to lick their face it’s adorable but strange, as she used to never do this she was always more gentle greeting kids but still jumping, now she goes onto the floor and almost cowers trying to be as gentle as she can she’s still the same with adults or like older kids aged 10+ but for some reason she became extremely careful with little ones

Could it be over her second season just ending and her being more maternal now or what has gone into my usually overexcited creature

I think she's growing up & becoming the nanny dog their reputation asks for!

Yeah she must be, so strange though that all of a sudden she decided she needs to act like children are made out of paper wish she came to a conclusion that she should act like this towards everyone she meets
