Suddenly limping on back leg
Really not sure what happened there, she was fine all day playing with her new toys she got then we got KFC so she was bit excited but she was walking fine. Then about 15 mins later she can’t put any pressure on her back left leg. I can touch and squeeze every bit off it and she doesn’t seem to be in pain she’s just looking at me doing it but she won’t stand on it. It happened about an hour ago I tried massaging it and putting ice on it but she’s just gone into her crate now to sleep. Tricky situation as the vets is closed tomorrow so I really hope it could be something small?

Have you looked underneath in case there’s something in her paw/pad ?

Yeah there’s no visible sign of injury at all no swelling nothing she lets me touch it and move it around but won’t stand on it and is just sleeping now

I don’t even understand how it happened as there was no whimper and she was inside, she was fine 10 mins before that

Re: Suddenly limping on back leg
If she’s sleeping then I’d venture to say, see how it is tomorrow morning.
I once had Nifty who had a thorn in her foot and she wouldn’t put any weight on it, obviously.
She could have pulled something ...
Can you maybe try to identify which part of her leg is posing a problem. Does it appear to come from her foot, her leg, her hip ?
Hope you’ll see with fresher eyes tomorrow

How is she this morning? Katy twisted her ankle last week but would let me handle it without any fuss. Have you any Metacam you could give her? Or a child's aspirin is ok as it's low dosage

Re: Suddenly limping on back leg
She’s actually completely fine today!! Yesterday evening she started trying to put weight on it and would do it for few steps then lift her leg again. I inspected her paw but there was nothing at all wrong with it however that seemed to be what was stopping her from putting weight down she’d like move her leg to walk and then limp when foot touches the floor, I think she must have jumped off couch funny or something and just really hurt a muscle.. although I dunno since she’s perfectly fine now never a dull moment is there
