Potential
Hi guys,
My partner and I are looking at extending our family, and have both admired the Staffordshire from afar, both of us having friends who have had them. We were just wondering about temperament, training ability, socialisation and quirky things about the breed.
I hope someone will be able to help and point us in the right direction to finding our dream dog. xxx

Re: Potential
Hello and welcome from my girls and me.
I can definitely recommend the breed.
Nifty is my first dog experience and I appreciated the breed so much that I added Opium to the family.
They’re big enough to be a decent piece of a dog but not too big as to become cumbersome.
They don’t bark (or very rarely) and they don’t have an undercoat which is a nightmare when it moults and which can contribute to bad smell. They’re easy maintenance, will go more than a week on a big bag of kibble.
They’re energetic enough to follow you on your sporting adventures but calm enough to chill out on the sofa with you in the evening.
They’re real little clowns and they’ll always make you laugh.
They’re loyal, very intelligent, a real bundle of fun.
Please just do your homework with things to watch out for when acquiring a staffy (puppy or older) as many unscrupulous people are out there to sell you a heartbreak.

Re: Potential
I've had experience with a lot of breeds, my kids are by the best so far! They have such personalites. They're active when they're out, chill when at home, dont malt, cuddly and so affectionate, each dog has their own quirky mannerisms, very intelligent and easy to train.
Couldnt reccomend then enough!
