COVID-19 restrictions - how are we all doing ?
Different restrictions apply to wherever in the world we are and we all understand the use of such measures, even if they can be a real pita.
So how are you all holding out and what is the first thing you intend to do on deconfinement ?
I am fed up of being cooped up and unable to leave home with the girls for more than one hour a day within a 1km radius of the house. That sums up to 4 roads in the village and farmers’ fields so basically no go.
So thankful I have a big garden in the country to let the girls execute their zoomies
First thing I intend to do is take the girls for a nice walk, either on the local bridlepaths or around a lake close by

I'm pretty lucky where I live, there are gorgeous national parks and woodland in walking distance. Only the locals know the secret walks of the beaten track so I can let the dogs off without bumping into anyone!
We managed to get a Dominoes delivered the other night. Takeaways are a treat to us, once a month if that.
Happy belated birthday Jen! Did you do anything nice
First thing I do... get back the gym!

Thanks Kita, not a lot you can do on lockdown! No takeaways available round here & we only have them for a treat
Good walks here too, can avoid bumping into too many people

Happy belated birthday Jen.
I don’t know about a gym but even just being able to go walking with the girls is going to make a huge difference to my daily number of steps

First thing we’re gonna do is go to the beach with Luna, we’ve been saying everything since we got her that the minute it gets warm we want to take her to this local beach spot, it’s really quiet there. Would be such a lovely place to get her used to water and just to play in the sand, she’s never been to a beach
Of course the second it got warm the lockdown happened my boyfriend was laughing that poor Luna’s first summer is ruined now

You’re very lucky to go to the beach.
I live too far wrt deconfinement rules and beaches are still closed to public at the moment.
I don’t necessarily think Luna’s summer is ruined as she’s probably had more time with her humans who were possibly spending more time at home through curfew and home office

Re: COVID-19 restrictions - how are we all doing ?
Lockdown rules have been lifted slightly here, we can now drive to places like the beach or parks so alls good for the dogs
Luna's summer isn't ruined, she's spent all that extra time with her hoomans There are plenty of Summers ahead to make up for it! Beach walks are the best
I managed to meet up with my mum and her dog today and smashed 13,000 steps, needless to say, the dogs are rather tired
