Ticks are a problem in my part of the world so we use collars during the busy season (spring to end of autumn) and then have the possibility of using combined worm/flea/tick oral treatment if needed over winter

Yes good link Crystal they are rife here too atm so yes flea and tick treatments and lots of checking after walks

I never took mia in woods as such but i know how bad ticks can be for them as well as us

Eww nasty my neighbours elderly staffy got one i told her to cover it in vaseline she then took the dog to the vet and got it off
