Re: Hair loss on blue female staff
My female blue staffy had the same thing! My boyfriend did some research and figured it looked like demodex mange. We took her to the vet, he agreed and prescribed simperica monthly. It started clearing up almost the next day!
Maybe ask your vet about it and see if they agree?
Good luck!

Re: Hair loss on blue female staff
How old is she?
It could be several things, but the main ones that come to mind are...
1. Allergy (food, environment etc)
2. Demodectic mites
3. Colour Dilution Alopaecia.
The only way your vet can say for certain is to do tests.

Gilly is right, you need to speak to your vet. What colour are her parents as a lot of problems come from breeding blue on blue!!

Hair loss on blue female staffy
Hi Roseannasappleby
I appreciate your post was a couple of years ago, but did you ever manage to sort this out? I do hope so! The pictures you posted were identical to what's happening with our female blue staffy. The pattern of hair loss is exactly the same and the photos could have been of her. Her father was black, so she shouldn't have colour dilution alopecia. We're taking her to the vet tomorrow, but it would be really useful to know whether you managed to resolve it in your case.
Thanks in advance
