Orijen puppy or original ? Empty Orijen puppy or original ?

Nifty is just over 5 months old and I’ll be needing to reorder kibble.
Should I stick with orijen puppy or switch to orijen original ?
I also need to transition her to 2 feeds per day instead of 3.

She’s a gobble-swallower feeder so maybe the original kibble is a bit larger in size.
Might encourage her to crunch kibble, unless she chokes on it ? Surprised

Hmmm, I’m none the wiser.
Will probably get a bag of each to mix half and half.
They’re both very similar in composition so hope we get the best of both worlds, if a difference there is Smile

if she's a 'gobbler' then the larger kibble might slow her down - or she might still try & inhale it & choke!

it's probably down to whatever suits her best!

Just to give a short feedback.
Currently feeding half and half puppy and original in a slow-feeder bowl.
So far, so good !
I can hear her crunching a little when she eats. Ok, so she still eats very quickly but there is improvement and no choking !

If you're concerned about the speed she eats at, look at slow feeder bowls. I'm not sure what you'll be able to find there but this sort of thing

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Slow-Feeder-Dog-Bowl-Interactive/dp/B06Y4ND4LX/ref=sr_1_3?s=pet-supplies&ie=UTF8&qid=1507576035&sr=1-3

They're very effective.

That is one of the slow feeder bowls I use, the other is this one

https://www.amazon.co.uk/JasGood-Eco-friendly-Durable-Non-Toxic-Preventing/dp/B01F8L63ZG/ref=sr_1_4?s=pet-supplies&ie=UTF8&qid=1507576861&sr=1-4&keywords=slow+feeder+dog+bowl

But she’s very smart and still finishes her kibble in no time.
Though I have also noticed an improvement after switch from 3 to 2 feeds per day. Maybe the bigger quantity helps too.
