He can swim!

Well didn't expect to see this when we went to the beach today! We got talking to another couple who had a older rescue girl staffy and she loved hank! Which was so lovely seeing them play, then the owner threw a ball into the sea for their dog and I was just stood thinking oh he won't follow her in... oh was I wrong! So proud of him he just went for it

Fantastic well done Hank. I need to work out how to post a video of Gus swimming in the river. So many other dog owners are shocked to see staffies swimming.

He's only ever ran about on the very edge only once before today! So proud of him he loved it! So lovely watching them both swim side by side

Forgot to mention I'm not a very strong swimmer so I panicked abit thinking I'm going to be have to jump in! But now I know Hank can save me if I'm ever in trouble

On a serious note, you also now know he can save himself if he falls in somewhere. Why I think all dogs should learn to swim.

Look at that clever puppup! It's a great skill under his belt, and he looks like he's gaining confidence in himself too. Lovely boy.

I know Liz, puts my mind at ease if we are ever near water which we are never far from where I live, glad he's done it now as a pup so it will just be the norm for him Going to have to learn to swim properly myself now and we can go out together
