Sick of it Empty Sick of it

Post by Mistys Mum Tue Feb 21 2017, 12:44

When is this country ever going to punish animal abusers. I'm sick of seeing headlines of animals tortured and then seeing a punishment... They are not allowed to keep animals. Big whoop, do they think that is punishment or even a deterrent?

Some and I won't use the word I want to as its a family forum is caught on camera kicking, spitting, screaming at a defenceless bull terrier. His punishment... Barred from keeping animals. No jail time, but remember if you don't pay your taxes or get caught speeding then it's off to jail for you. Beat the living daylights out of a dog and just get a good telling off.

Can you imagine if that poor dog had tried to defend itself... Vicious dog savages owner and must be put down.

I've just had enough of evil scum hurting animals.

The law is an ass Emma. We all know that serious stuff gets light sentencing but if you drop a wrapper watch out.

As far as I'm concerned he should receive the same treatment he gave out angry

Quite apart from the absolute nastiness of what they're doing, there's a heck of a lot of evidence showing links between abusing animals and abusing humans so you'd think that'd at least merit more intervention. Heaps of serial killers killed and tortured animals when they were young, it's absolutely the sign of a sick person.

Sorry to say it and some may not agree but these people who mistreat animals are no better than those who mistreat children, they are just scumbags. To my mind they should be given the same treatment that they gave a poor defenseless animal,I would be the first to dish out the punishment and would have pleasure doing it.Like it or lump it,sorry to say that is how strongly I feel about it.

I completely agree I'd love nothing better then to beat these people. I fully believe in how you treat others ( animals included)  is how you want to be treated. I'd give anything to stamp on this evil creature and I'd do it with a smile on my face.

It's a very good point that it's proven animal abusers progress to humans so surely you would think the courts would take this into account but no. What goes on in these people's mind, animals are living creatures who feel pain and fear. If you want to beat something go to a gym and work on a punch bag and then maybe start mma but these cowards who hurt animals would never be able to fight someone who would fight back.

I had to explain to my nephew that animal abusers don't get put in prison and he said they should because it's wrong to hurt animals. He's 7 and understands the principal, why can't the government of adults?
If the PM's happy with fox hunting, I very much doubt we'll manage to get any harsher punishments in place for animal cruelty.

I don't mind you asking Smile My husband and I are currently looking for our first dog as a couple as we have had our two cats since we got our first home over 17 years ago until recently (both have now passed away). So we are on the lookout for our staffy at the moment Smile Hence no dog to have as a profile picture - yet!
