Haha, it certainly is a wonderful word. I'm not house-proud & understand he is a teething baby. I'm not a fan of rain bouncing off the ground either so I get where the wee guy is coming from lol. Yes he has some Kong's. Glad I read here about frozen veg & tea towels as well

Laura go to your local chemist and they will sign u up for smoking cessation theres a few things they can give you .Just go and they give you the products the next week i signed up but mia passed and lost my motivation. First time i stopped smoking i visited a group at my health centre most health centres do a weekly group session ask your gp he will tell you or phone the health centre.xxx. wish i could stop smoking

I'm sure you will stop when the time is right Crystal. I really feel for you losing Mia, it's obvious how much you both loved each other. I find stress hard to deal with without a smoke

Wish id never started smoking laura worst  thing i ever did got 11 and a bit years of life with mia laura she was the best thing that ever happened to me.

Well laura rescued mia at three she had three homes before mine previous owners was uncles gf i originally wanted a puppy read several books in a year. That owner told me mias history she had 15 pups over 2 litters 8 and 7 her first litter 9 months old 2nd soon after . Collected her in 2 days instead of three owner never wanted her and i didnt want to leave her there. 2 baths and a new harness and lead. three days after having mia i had to run to vets as owner said she still was going into season i didnt want pups or dogs at the door. She was being fed hero dog food couldnt stand smell changed food week after her spay. After a month took her to dog classes noticed a few problems with dogs she attended there for a year still noticed problems just accepted and walked opposite other dogs. Then i started training and dieting with mia took her several walks after a vet check he couldnt believe the difference in her coat and weight. While attensing the classes i discovered victoria stillwell and her programme its me or the dog. retrained mia in 2 weeks i trained her everyday then i seen mias previous owner and she couldn't believe mias build and weight . We used to go 4 mile walks most days with 2 days light walks 2 miles . I used to go to the park and socialise mia with kids and small dogs she loved it. And she loved cats as previous owners cat had kittens mia grew up with one of the kittens he curled under her legs and put his tail up her nose. i didnt know at the time mia had seperation anxiety and i got rid of that after 2 years and another 2 to cure her motorbike phobia. Mia was at vets 5 times in her life and she started having leg problems trouble walking she was fine for a while as i gave her more fish and joint formula she got tablets from the vet and managed the condition myself as i felt the tablets were making her mobility worse. A month before she passed i noticed her health deteriorate so knew i had to enjoy the time i had left . Day and bit before she passed she wouldnt go outside so i spent as much time as i could with her. The day before her passing she had a stroke made the arrangements for her to be pts next day just wanted a final few hours with her. So laura despite her hating bigger dogs she was the biggest sook there ever was she liked treats but if she seen a dog outside no treat would distract her tried most things she was stubborn though. Told my story i guess though nobody on here because of mias difficulties lots of people thought she was vicious because of media or her reaction to other dogs. But they never knew her story or her and i will never understand peoples hatred of staffies as they are the most easy to train and loyal breed ive ever known. After mia passed demoted myself but guess i must be liked otherwise i wouldn't still be here . Just offer advice on what ive learned surprised myself what i know i do know it wasn't like the books mia taught me a lot i will always be grateful to her.

Crystal Mia's story is beautiful. You two were meant to be & you did a great job with her. I love how you dedicated your life to her & gave her the very best life a staffy could have. I so admire you for continuing to help & support people here when you must be heartbroken. I hope your healing & one day in the future another staffy is lucky enough to come into your life. If only every staffy owner was like you, every breed of dogs owners then the world would be a better place xx

She specialises in staffies laura she said in the programme they are her favourite . Took me 4 hours to write mias story . I was meant to have her glad i did i got 11 and a bit years ill always be grateful
