TRICHIASIS, DISTICHIASIS, AND ECTOPIC CILIA IN DOGS :(

Post by mrsxg on Sat Oct 22 2016, 20:55

Evening everybody Smile
I had Lola at the vet the other day and the vet reckons she's suffering with trichiasis/distichasis. Has anyone else's fur baby suffered with it??
They've give us a gel to reduce the swelling of the eye but she's so miserable I hate seeing her in pain Sad

I've got to be honest I've never heard of it before so just googled it, is it an extra row of eyelashes Lola has ?

So the gel is to soothe the eye I assume. Is there nothing that can be done long term ?
