Is my baby overweight?

Just weighed my boy and he weights 19kg, he's 9 months old, but I know the average is 12-17kg??

He looks good to me with a nice waist and can just see the ribs. He does look like a big lad though

Thanks very much. Was worrying as my neighbour looks after him whilst I'm at work and she leaves food down for her two to graze..which I hate but she has him for free so I can't really complain. Just didn't want him getting too fat. Then I saw he should he between 12-17kg and weighed him and he's 19kg at 9 months so was a little worried, but he is a big lad lol

He looks like a naturally big lad so will look heavier. If you think he's eating at the dog minders just watch the waistline and if he starts to put a bit on simply cut a little out of the food you give him.

Looks lovely. I always go by the old vets saying "you should be able to feel their ribs, but not see them". If you can't push your fingers into his ribs and feel them he is overweight.

He looks perfect. xx
