Toy recommendation
Hi my pup is 19 weeks and loves to chew his toys (he's being good with the chewing at the moment However his favourite toys are the soft squeaky toys and as you can guess these get destroyed in days (yes I'm lucky) however does anyone have any recommendations for soft squeaky toys that are indestructible. Does this even exist. I can't wait to hear your opinions. Thank you

Ummm.... I doubt there is such a thing but I stand to be as surprised as you if there are. Rope toys seem to be a good hit though

Re: Toy recommendation
Yeh I know I really hope there is cos he loves them my purse doesn't. Even the rope toys he has destroyed 3 in 10 weeks. Although to be fair I am just glad he is chewing his toys and nothing else at the moment

Re: Toy recommendation
That is the only blessing I guess Steph... at least your skirting boards and doors are still intact

Re: Toy recommendation
I have heard about them chewing skirting boards and doors and thought this was an exaggerated truth. Is this not the case.

Re: Toy recommendation
Umm nope. It happens, there is a semi desperate plea for help on the Facebook page for just this thing tonight. The thing to do is to keep them occupied with something more exciting than your nice newly painted skirting

If you can find a soft squeaky toy that can survive a staffie please let us know, you could make a fortune

Re: Toy recommendation
I have found the black kong is very good, also rope toys are excellent although my previous Staffy who passed away last year could unravel a rope toy within half hour. Also I have found that a good quality rubber toy that is not solid.... by that I mean they are flexible when they chew do last quite well & a bonus that you can stuff treats inside to keep them occupied a little while.
I am afraid it is no myth, Staffies do seem to enjoy a nice bit of wood as my skirting boards & doors have suffered a little bit, but she is starting to grow out of that phase.... a little.

Re: Toy recommendation
The only "toy" any of my Staffies have not destroyed was an old practise cricket ball my girl Tess found some 29 years ago now. Tess then Mo both chewed and chewed it but only managed to rough up the surface. I only allowed it in the garden though cos when they chased it around in the house it was like living with a rhino! I'm not sure where you'd get one though

Re: Toy recommendation
Sounds like it could be as loud as a boomer ball, we have 1 in the garden & 1 in the house! What a racket but she loves it
