Help with feeding
I wonder if anyone can help me. I am feeding Storm Hill Science Diet Puppy food (pellets) and a small amount of tin food. I have never had a puppy that doesn't like to eat, Storm is the first.
On a morning she runs into the kitchen and sits as if she is hungry and wants to eat, I put her bowl down and she runs away.
I have a 13 year old daschund female (we lost our male a few weeks ago), and Storm will eat some of her food, if it is there, but still not much. She does love treats and will eat some of her pellets if I put them in her Kong toy.
What am I doing wrong? She isn't underweight, so that is a relief, but she can't live off treats.
Help, Please

Re: Help with feeding
Try different foods. Hills isn't great quality anyway - I know it's pushed by vets but the nutritional value isn't brilliant. I'd try a different kibble to see if that helps. Other options include raw which is as it says, raw meat.
If you were in the UK I'd suggest some things to try but I don't know the Australian market. Google things like 'natural dog food' and see what comes up, or go to the pet store and have a look. Generally speaking, the fewer additives the better and avoid anything that has meat or vegetable 'derivatives', which means anything at all.
