Re: weight loss advice
10 kilos is a lot of weight to lose. i take it there are no health issues causing weight gain?
a balanced diet is essential, not just cutting back. give him the right amount of food for tge weight you would like him to be & feed it over two or three meals a day so that he doesn't feel starving. what feeding regime do you follow & what brand of food do you feed?
exercise is also essential, but will need to be built up gradually. three walks a day is a good start, gradually increasing the length. after a while you could introduce some play in the park with a toy or ball - again, just a little to start with.

Re: weight loss advice
Feed and exercise are key, just as it is with us humans.
If you think you may be over feeding reduce it over time and watch the treats. Exercise is really the key though, if you can get a couple or three good walks in you'll see a difference in weeks.
What weight is he now ?

Ha! Yeah, that'll be it. My Mum keeps giving my boy toast and coissants when he's with them.

Re: weight loss advice
I used to make my own food when my boy needed to loose weight. It is essential that you weigh everything precisely. I used to give him brown rice, mixed with fish and natural yogurt with some veg. He loved it .
