I know there is a big bee shortage and a campaign to save the bees - well I think Misty is on a one women mission to personally taste every bee that is left!

In the park recently she was snuffling along the ground and I thought she was trying to sniff out some rotten old piece of food but no shes after the bees.

In the local park there are loads of bees in the grass. It was weird as Misty would grab them in her mouth then let them go but seemed she never got stung- she doesn't actually eat them but just grabs them and lets them go. They normally fly off after a few seconds. So I did some research as I thought it was weird that the bees are in the grass and they don't sting her. So I found out they must be ground nesting bees that don't have a stinger.

Im waiting for the time she picks on the wrong bee and gets stung! You would think she would learn her lesson after last year where we highly suspect she was stung by a wasp or a bee ( the vet couldn't find anything) but after going to the park her jaw was very sore and she didn't eat treats for a day or so.

I cannot wait for Bee flavour dog food and treats to come out!! Ill be first in the queue.

Misty the bee hunter! Like it, Blue is very intrigued by them as well hope he don't get one or he will learn the hard way not to touch them, no chance the day of getting any bees as it rain/ sleet here.
