6 month old behaviour
Young Rosie is now 6 months old and I think she has been behaving really well. Doing well at obedience training, good with smaller dogs and kids.
We went os for 2 weeks and we had a house sitter to look after her and the meow meow.
We have started back to our normal routine tonight by going to soccer training and she was a bit out of control. Jumping at young kids which is something she has rarely does, really hypo around unfamiliar dogs and just not listening to any commands.
Does anyone think it's just that we have been away or do staffys go through these behavioural changes in short periods of time?

I would have thought it is down to you returning and excitement. Try going back to basics with some fun training just to give a recap to Rosie as to what your expectations are

Re: 6 month old behaviour
They do go through periods of different behaviour, but to be honest I would expect most 6 month old pups to get excited at something like soccer training. Animals pick up and react to our energy levels and something super high like this is almost bound to have a correspondingly big reaction.

Re: 6 month old behaviour
It's all perfectly normal for her age. Daisy used to jump up to my childrens friends at head height and yank their hair bands out of their heads for about 6 months. I used to have to make them take them out before they came in the house.
Just keep up with the training and you will see great results for your efforts. xx
