4 Month Male Pup, Playful to depressed behaviour
We have a 4 month old male puppy who when we got him was extreamly playful, we got him a female playmate last week and since then he is acting depressed and not wanting to play with us anymore.
He plays with her all the time but if we try he will try and get away and act like he is in trouble???
He is eating and passing fine... Just worried about sudden behaviour change...
Any help is much appreciated?????

It sounds like it's just his way of dealing with the change in routine, as long as they are playing well together you should be quite pleased.
Just give him a bit of time to find his way to adapt. Also, make sure not to treat either of the dogs better/worse/different than the other when possible because you don't want to start any competition between them.
Also, come and say hello and tell us a bit about yourself and your pups

Its great that they get on so well
Like Mat says. its a big change for him so he needs time to adapt fully to it

He's young, the new addition is probably a bit weird for him. Just give him a bit of time, and definitely agree with what Mat says, treat them both equally

good advice above. When we got out 2nd pup our first was down for quiet a while as she got used to him having to share her space. Give them time and treat them the same.
