Hiya just a little worried (this is hard to explain) should where bella had her stitches be hard the whole of that area is hard and was wondering if that was swelling should it be like that she would of had her surgery two weeks tomorrow

as well as the hard area is there any bleeding I seem to remember mias stomach being rough around the stitch area . your vet should have advised another visit after the stitches and also a week after. does she seem fine in herself ?

Might be worth getting her checked, Katy was only checked 2 days after her op but nothing after that!

It might just be scar tissue but it's probably worth getting it checked, just to put your mind at rest.

Hiya she back at the vets in the morning hopefully put my mind at rest the area isn't bleeding g or anything it is red was just wondering this sounds silly I have notice a change in bella behaviour before she was very much a cuddly dog now she won't come near me for cuddles anyone experienced this after they had their dog spayed

She may be in a bit of discomfort if it's hard and red, it would explain why she doesn't want cuddles! Good shout taking her to the vets, let us know how it goes!

I thought lexis spay scar was awful and i took her back. They said it was totally normal. It literally not visible anymore!

My Flo had the op well before we got her but she still feels a little lumpy in that area, guess it's all down to how the scar heals

Hiya bella seems fine now the vet said it was normal which surprised me abit it looks and feels horrible she said it should go down in a month or so and my sister had her jack Russell spayed couple of years ago looked nothing like bellas scar at the time her is completely gone now wouldn't know she had been done just like lexi's
