I am looking at buying a harness for Rosie who is now 11 weeks old.

What type/style do you use and why?

Hi Dave,

Misty is currently wearing this one.

I like it as it's nice and padded and the first one really that hasn't rubbed her. I have bought so many over this last year and they always end up rubbing her somewhere. This one also has a handle which is good. She's a funny size as she never really fits anyone perfectly, this one is a fraction too big but I doubt she would fit in an XS one!!

Buddy has this one too - stopped him pulling by at least 75% still the odd pull when we see a cat! - lovely and padded and doesn't rub him anywhere ...

We got one too for Una, and it's lovely. It was a wee bit wide at first but we popped it on over her jacket until she got a bit bigger and I still do when we're out first thing in the morning.

As Emma says there's a handle which is really helpful and the harness has taken a lot of the intensity out of Una's pulling when we were using her old harness or the collar.

It's easy to get on, just a pop over the head and click the tummy strap - no fiddly paws through hoops and the strap can be adjusted. Not a brilliant pic but here's how it looks on

+1 for the harness that Misty's mum recommended.

Betty is 8 months old and 15kg and wears a small.

I have the harness in the link above which someone posted.
It's a great price, fits lovely, doesn't rub and stops her pulling as much.
Well worth the money.
