New Puppy, feeding Empty New Puppy, feeding

Hey folks,
A bit of an emotive subject...... I am going shopping for Bomber's arrival, got the usual stuff so far, crate, vet bedding, bowls, new toys etc it's a long list..... But I haven't decided what to feed the wee man. In the past, my working gundog's/hounds and terriers were raw fed.... And I am a big fan of Barf feeding. But I really don't think it will be suitable, (for a settling in period at least), for Bomber, I certainly didn't feed that much protein to my Boerboel's....
So am looking at kibble, at least till he settles in and we are all acquainted with each others foibles and routines, some dogs just don't do well on raw, and some flourish.
What kibble is everyone using / avoiding. Most recently I have fed Evolution which I found really good,  it used to be lamb and rice "flavoured".
I bow to all your knowledge here as this is my first Staffie and would like it to kick off positively. Am sure there will be kibble out there that just isn't good for this breed. I know some Staffie's suffer from allergies so I don't want to fall foul with crap food.
Over the years I have tried virtually every kibble, (get it cheap direct from feed company's at Dog Shows).
I will be introducing a raw meal per day once he is settled on kibble to see how he fares.
All input will be greatly received.

I concur. I think I would keep the same food as the breeder is using and switch gradually so as to not upset the stomach as well

Hi my pup Bowser was on Wagg, we changed it to Burns within a couple of days, he loves it and it's not too expensive
