Staffy Greeting.
Does anyone else's dog always have to run and get a shoe or preferably a boot to greet you with when you get home, even when you've just got back from a walk together? The next step is to run the shoe or boot up the garden where it'll be dumped in the mud! Then the whole process is repeated until we stop him!Sometimes we find 4 or 5 damp shoes out there!

Re: Staffy Greeting.
Brilliant! Mine just yodels or burps in my face and runs me down the stairs.
edit - he also feels the need to clean himself furiously whilst sitting on my foot. Not so delighted by that one.

Oh my god i completely get this & thought it was just us!!! He grunts at the door til we open it, lunges at us both then flies outside & grabs a toy and races back inside with it and chews frantically - almost seeking our approval and attention!

Re: Staffy Greeting.
Yup! huge greetings followed by 'oh no, I've forgotten something!', then then rush off to the toy box and select the toy of the moment to present to you. One reason for having the toy box near the front door!

Re: Staffy Greeting.
Bug too! She runs around in circles for a few minutes, before grabbing a teddy bear and running to her bed with it, giving it a good chew! She "happy growls" at my partner too!
