So I just rescued my Bronson from a shelter last Sunday since then he's been great had a lil cough and a stopped up nose so my vet put him on some meds for it seems to me he's gotten more tired just seeing what I can do to comfort him

Hi ya, welcome to the forum from Flo & me Big Grin

Well done on the rescue. Did the vet say what the problem was ?

If you are really worried by the tiredness then contact your vet, however, if you think it might just be the meds then you could wait 24hrs and see how he is, just keep a close eye on him.

Is he eating and more importantly, drinking ok ? These are key indicators of not being well too.

I've move your post to the health area where it will get more views.

I can tell you're worried so a call to the vets will do no harm and will put you at ease if nothing else.

The meds are a broad based antibiotic and are used for humans as well. If the vets say this is normal then just make sure he knows your there and give him some comfort.

his sleeping a lot could be cos he is nice and relaxed with you rather than being stuck in the rescue centre which was probably really stressful for him,let the meds kick in and if you are worried definitely call your vet Smile
