Jake here seems to be looking less and less staffy by the day? His face resembles one but he's soooo tall and not very wide built. He's already 13kg (about 28.5 pounds) and incredibly tall -- for a staffy, that is.

I've met his mother several times and she's very big but definitely staffy, never met his father, though.

And his mom (sorry baddd picture):

These pictures are a couple week old by now but he hasn't changed much, other than growing bigger and heavier and stronger. Any ideas here?

By the way, just wanted to add that I don't care what he is or what he isn't. He's an amazing puppy and I love him regardless! I do have people harass me and my partner before telling me he was a pitbull and seriously question it when I say he's just a staffy. :/

well, he's gorgeous, no doubt about that!

as to whether he's a pure Stafford or not, I'm no expert but I'd say probably not.

but as you say, who cares? he's a handsome chap!

He`s beautiful ! My Maya was 14.5 kilo`s at 5 and a half months so i wouldn`t worry about the weight side of things to much Laughing
Looking at the handsome fella, i would say that he is crossed, but can definitely see the staff side of him !

What a beautiful dog! Yes, I'd agree he's a cross. There's staffy in the face but it's not really broad enough for a full staff. I'd say he's gorgeousness x scrummy.

He is one good looking little fella but I would think he's a cross with something else. Having said that, they do change an awful lot as they grow.

I'd say cross as well. In general they all look odd as pups and tend to grow taller the first year and then out the next two

He looks similar to my girl. We were told she was a full staffy but have since been told she is crossed with another breed, which I don't believe. I personally think my girl is staffy cross whippet and my vet agrees too. She's tall long and skinny but weighs 11.5 kg at 6 months
