Super staffy
That’ll be my Nifty !
Today she was promoted to the advanced obedience group.
She’ll only be a year old next month and is in with dogs older than her without being the last of the class.
I’m just so proud of her because alot of people see Staffies as being lethargic and stubborn but I can honestly say that it's not the case at all.
Most internet sites also say that staffies are not suitable as a first dog but I’m having such great fun and a comparatively easy time with Nifty. She’s smart and eager to please, being very food orientated ensures that any food reward is instantly appreciated. She never insists with “stubbornness” or when she doesn’t agree.
I love her to bits

Re: Super staffy
Five star Nifty. Not that I'm the slightest bit surprised (other than to hear some people think staffies are lethargic )
Don't forget that no dog trains itself, it needs a dedicated, thinking and caring owner too...

Yeah, alot of people put staffies in the same basket as bulldogs which are not really the first choice for an athletic active canine.
Firm breed favourites here are belgian shepherds, australian collies, huskies and then retrievers.

Re: Super staffy
If the owner is consistent Staffies are relatively easy to train, sounds to me that you are one of those owners that's taken the training seriously and are reaping the rewards.
Well done you and Nifty

Thank you all, but the star is Nifty !
She’s the bestest in all ways and I’m just so privileged to have her in my life.

They tend to prefer the australian equivalent, and blue merle is a plus too ...
