What quantity of treats are OK?
Finding it hard to amuse our almost 5 months old. He has a very short attention span for anything that's not edible and has me driven demented chewing any plastic he can find. He adores a bone, rawhide, pigs ears and his Kong stuffed with banana and peanut butter but I have to limit these, how much of this stuff is OK to give him?

As much as you like really, but just remember that he will need all the necessary supplements to go with it. I usually give Maya one sometimes two meals a day, totaling around 400 grms, then she gets her treats on top of that, about 100 gms. I do feed Maya raw as well, and i like to give her bones from the butchers

My 2yr old boy is feed kibble with tuna twice a day, in addition to that each day he has a stuffed Kong (chronic chewer & bored as we're at work), a small bone every 2nd day, and treats daily (ie 5-10 bite size pieces of BBQ'd steak).

Mias almost 13 i would almost always say close supervision is needed with rawhide as they have a tendancy to choke once becoming soft . Have you tried freezing the ingredients in the kong to make it last longer ? Theres also the option of frozen carrots, broccoli and cauliflower this will soothe their gums. Any treat containing fish twice a week .
