Nightmare on Elm Street
Sunday night movie night and I've just watched my DVD of the new Nightmare on Elm street. I know it's not Robert Englund and it will never compare to him however I actually really like the film. Comparing it to the previous one's then yes it can't compete but on it's own I really like it. Anyone else seen it?

Re: Nightmare on Elm Street
Yes totally agree Crystal. I kept comparing him but when I just watch the film it's good and i like it but no-one compares to the real Freddy. They have announced a new film now. I've heard its not going to be him again but I'm hoping it will be. Would love to see him one more time!

Re: Nightmare on Elm Street
He actually looks a bit more real and plays it without any comedy etc. I loved the original ones as Freddy was always there with the one liners but this time they went for completely humorless. It's quite good but I know it got slated when it came out.

Re: Nightmare on Elm Street
For some reason Freddy never scared me, however Jason Vorhees gave me nightmares, still kept watching the films though
